Public animal feeding day

Don’t forget! Every Tuesday from 3:30 PM–5:00 PM we have Public Animal Feeding Day at Gorman Nature Center! (This event will not happen July 28th or August 11th)
This is your chance to get up close and personal with some of Ohio’s most fascinating reptiles and amphibians!
We typically try to stick to this order, so if there is a species that interests you most:
Box Turtles

Aquatic Turtles

Amphibians (Tree Frogs, American Toad, and Spotted Salamanders)

Snakes (Garter Snakes, Eastern Milksnakes, and Black Ratsnakes)
Make sure to stop by, no sign up required!
We hope to see you there!

Public Animal Feeding Day

Every Tuesday from 3:30-5:00 PM.  Beginning of May through the end of October.

GNC has many native animals, used for display and educational purposes, and it takes a lot of work to keep them happy and healthy.  This is an opportunity for kids of all ages to feed and interact with our animal ambassadors. This is an excellent chance for some hands-on time with snakes, turtles, and more!
