“Take a stab” at needle felting and go home with an adorable pumpkin with its own unique personality!
Will your pumpkin be comical, spooky, cheerful, or a little mischievous? The choice is yours! In this class, you’ll use a barbed felting needle to sculpt alpaca and wool fibers into a three-dimensional pumpkin face that is uniquely your own.
Needle felting is easy to learn, wonderfully relaxing, and a great creative outlet. Along the way, you’ll learn techniques for shaping and sculpting fiber, including some more advanced details and expressions that will bring your pumpkin to life.
WHAT IS NEEDLE FELTING?
Needle felting is the process of repeatedly poking natural fibers with a barbed needle, causing the fibers to tangle and become compact. With just a needle, some fiber, and a little imagination, you can create flat designs or detailed three-dimensional sculptures.
