Our weekly, nature-based preschool program for children and their guardians is held at Gorman Nature Center. There will only be one program meeting at 10:00 am during the months of September-May. The 9:00 am class will resume for the months of June-August.
We meet at the picnic pavilion. Please dress appropriately to hike and explore the outdoors, including boots and coats, if needed. We plan to be outside unless weather conditions are unsafe.

Join us for a delightful Barn Dance at Malabar Farm, held in the Main Barn on select Saturdays this summer and fall! Enjoy free admission and live music from the Back Porch Swing Band, starting at 7 PM and rocking until 10 PM. Participants can park at the Visitors’ Center and take a leisurely stroll to join the festivities. Refreshments are available, with water for $1 and soda for $2 (cash only). This event is fun for all skill levels, but please remember that children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Participants acknowledge that while we strive for a safe environment, inherent risks exist in recreational activities. We look forward to an evening of toe-tapping tunes and great times!

**Nature Doodling at Malabar Farm with Mark**
Unleash your creativity and reconnect with nature at this engaging free event! Join us as we invite adults to slow down, sketch, and bring the beauty of the outdoors to life—one doodle at a time. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Preregistration is required; reserve your spot by calling 419-892-2784. Participants will meet at the Pugh Cabin, where parking is available. Please note, recreation programs and activities can be inherently dangerous, and participants acknowledge that ODNR and its naturalist educators are not responsible for any injury or property damage occurring during the event.
