The Renaissance Theatre’s Teddy Bear Concert Series invites young audiences and families to experience live music through storytelling, imagination, and hands-on fun. This special performance features an engaging adaptation of Pinocchio, with an original script by Michael Thomas. Local actors and Mansfield Symphony musicians bring the classic story to life through interactive storytelling and live music, creating a playful introduction to the world of orchestral sound. Designed especially for children ages 2–10, Teddy Bear Concerts provide an up-close and welcoming performance environment where young audiences can sit near the performers and actively participate in the experience. The program is sensory-friendly, with small audience sizes, lights up, and lower sound levels to create a relaxed setting for children and families. A favorite part of the Renaissance Theatre’s education programming, Teddy Bear Concerts introduce children to musical instruments, storytelling, and the joy of live performance in a fun and engaging way.
