The Song Exchange: An Open Mic for Songwriters
It’s almost time for the JuneSong Exchange!
We have been truly amazed and inspired by the response so far, and welcome everyone to come share their music with us. From seasons pros to folks playing in public for the first time, from bearded guitar guys to hip-hop artists, we want to embrace anyone brave enough to step on the stage.
What makes The Song Exchange special?
1- Focus on Original Music. We are asking the performers to play at least one of their own songs.
2-Listening Environment. The Mothership is a Music Venue first, the expectation from the audience is that we are quiet and respectful while the artists are performing. We really want to foster a place where our attention is shared and everyone feels supported.
