Hop into the art of needle felting with our Frog Needle Felting Class! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn to craft an adorable felted frog using high-quality wool and simple techniques, perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike. Guided step-by-step, you’ll discover the relaxing and rewarding process of shaping wool into a charming frog that’s great for home décor, gifting, or adding to your handmade collection. Whether you’re looking to explore a new hobby or enhance your fiber art skills, this class is sure to inspire creativity and fun. Join us for a creative adventure and leave with your very own needle-felted masterpiece!
In this beginner’s needle felting class you’ll learn how to create a core shape, wrap it with roving, and begin basic needle felting. You’ll then learn how to create round shapes for eyes, and techniques for adding whatever details you choose. Needle felting is an easy-to-learn technique and is not difficult. It just takes time and lots of poking with a barbed needle which tangles the fibers together, in order to shape and sculpt the natural fiber.
Skill Level
This is a beginner’s level class.
Age Guidelines
This class is designed for participants ages 16 and older. Youth ages 12–15 are welcome to attend when registered with an adult companion who is also enrolled in the class.
Included in Fee
All materials are included in class fee, as well as felting tools and foam to work on in class.
Class Time
Class will begin at 1pm and finish about 3pm.
